Breton-Yorkshire 'Experimental Chef' with a passion for good food & home cooking that calls a spade 'une bêche'.

 

My down to earth restaurant, bistro & pub blog is called

'La Bernique Hurlante' in honour of a little place I was taken to by dear friends in Rennes many years ago.

 

By nature a night owl & an early bird for work reasons I naturally end up drinking a LOT of coffee.

 

I currently live in Nottingham but my heart sighs wistfully 

for 'God's Own County' Yorkshire & 'Le Pays Gallo' Haute-Bretagne.

 

My feline owner Poppy kindly allows me to share her home as long as I keep her in fish :-)
